I arrived about a week ago and so far everything's great on Saint John. My roomate Ian and I have walk around the entire town looking for work and so far have found some painting jobs a couple days a week. There's a lot of folks our age here and its easy to make friends with locals, people are happy to meet new arrivals and help in any way they can with our situation.We have some friends coming to visit tomorrow from the States. They're in the same boat we're in except they need housing too. Hopefully its not too late for them to find something in the area. The busy season starts in about two weeks and I've been told work will be alot easier to find soon enough, so until then I'll just keep looking and living.
