Tour de France

Hey all, its been quite some time....ALOT HAS HAPPENED!

My Gal Jenny came out to visit for about 3 weeks and we did our own sort of tour de France. We stayed in La Grave for the beginning just while I finished up some work, and jenny got used to the jet lag. We hiked all over the mountain and I took her to the top of La Miege on a perfect clear and sunny day. Then we celebrated my birthday and left the next day for our adventure... First we went south to Nice where there was a huge festival with floats and spent some time in the sun and soaking up the beautiful view of the Sea. Then we hopped on board the Corsica Ferry and headed to Bastia for about a week, rented bicycles and road around the coast living off water bread and cheese we kept in my backpack - ah yes, the good life. Then it was to Paris where we stayed with some friends I made in my first week here in La Grave. Paris is beautiful and I hope I have captured it in my photos - who knows when ill be going back? There was a party waiting for us when we arrived and we were able to stay at my Friend Lucile's mothers apartment that had an amazing skyscraper view of the entire city! After that it was back to Geneva to say goodbyes to Jenny and then back to La Grave to make back all the money I spent.
Everything here is going well, the work is slow going sometimes because the snow gets very good very quick and it looks like I'll be coming back to the states in late may or so, we'll see how things go. I really miss everyone and I hope everyone is well. I've added photos from the whole trip so make sure you take a glimpse through my sunglasses!

Checking in...

Dear everybody,

Its been a bit since I last posted becasue of all the happenings! I've been snowshoeing, adventuring to neighboring towns, going to dinner parties and checking out some of the nightlife with local bands at local bars. Not that I have photos of all of that but i can tell you all about it for sure. Since we last spoke I've been making big changes around my office, I've been moving my apartment to one right below where colin (my Boss) lives. We're currently in the middle of taking the entire office and moving it into the apartment aswell, which puts my work closer to me and makes everything a heck of a lot easier to do. My ski count is up to 15 days, but those arent full days mind you, skiing a full day here is a marathon for me and I think the most full runs I've done in one day is around 4 and that was after a couple days of rest. I'm trying to get out and hike around here, I'll include some landscapes on my blog eventually so you can see whats surrounding me, the sheer awesome magnificence and beauty. I'd be alot more active but I'm really trying to put in some solid hours for Colin since I'll be traveling most of next month, or this month I guess I could say...It's already February! A quick month and its all moving faster and faster everyday. I have my Friends from Paris coming in next Monday for about a week of skiing so it will be nice to entertain and relax with some fun folk for a while... Which reminds me I need to stock up on wine, bread and cheese! Alright until next time...

Full Moon... Feelin crazy

Hello and cheers!
My first full moon in La Grave, oh boy. I went out on an adventure to snap some shots of the beautiful night sky and here's one of my favorite shots. It reminds me of the Creedence Song "Bad Moon Rising". We just got about half a foot of snow and the wind is blowing the trails free of tracks after every run... Smooth as butter. My friend Boss and I are taking the night off and relaxing, watching some movies and maybe I'll go out for some more night shots later on, who knows. Alright, until next time - and I promise my next message will have a bit more happenin info in it, I just wanted to share this photo with you guys.

Post Numero Uno

Hello to all,

Alright, took me a little while to get this guy going and i dont have much time to post so here's a couple photos and a quick note that everything here is going well I'm currently in the moving process of the entire office down to another apartment below us. This should take some time, about a week... then the real fun begins as I start to re-organize slides and sell photos...all while working on my photography as well! Lots to do, and plenty of time to do it in....
